How much trouble am I in? I joined less than three months ago so I'm assuming that my number is up. I left another position to join Centene and I don't think I have the option to return. I didn't burn any bridges intentionally but my old manager was certainly not happy with me. Now I might lose this job and end up with nothing. Just great.

Your PLs and other managers can talk and act like everyone is friends. Nobody cares about you. You are a # to them. End of story.
What department in PWH are you leadership for?
That's awful. I would definitely start job hunting. You may not be laid off this round, but there are more to come.
Also, do some digging into the companies you apply to. Although you won't know if they will be sold/acquired, it's good to know if they have been sold/acquired several times. That history can tell you your chances of facing another layoff situation.
I am right there with you. I'm logging on soon. I have a meeting at 9:30 with my manager and others on my team. I have a feeling this meeting may lead into the other meeting from HR.
It all depends on what line of business you are in with Centene. For instance I am in leadership at PHW our PA health plan and we were told no additional layoffs this round since we had silent layoffs which many don’t know about in August where we eliminated several positions. In the past I have seen new hires who I personally hired who were exceeding in their roles let go during layoffs and I have seen new hires who have been with company less than a year safe and they still remain at company 7 years later. It really all depends. Really those who are on PIPS or Mets expectations only were looked at first it seemed in past during layoffs. I really think they generate a list of potential layoffs and then senior leadership go over the list and decide who will go with being told a certain number and money figure in mind that needs reduced. Prayers for everyone. This def isn’t a fun time.
