Only 1/2 Extra Holiday for 2024

Regarding the “new” holidays, it looks like they are taking our floating holiday away. That su-ks! Also, they are only giving us 1/2 day for New Year’s Eve.

This year we have 11 holidays. Next year we have 11.5. They are trying to frame it in a way where it is 2 whole extra days when it is not. It is only 1/2 of a day.

Well, I'm a manager at a health plan, and I know my team will get nye off and a floating holiday next year, no matter what the policy says. To he-l with this exec/Corp greed.

2024 added Juneteenth and Veterans Day and 1/2 day for NYE. No mention of personal float day.

The holiday schedule changes every year depending on when holidays fall. We haven’t had New Years Eve or Christmas Eve before 2023.

Theres no verbiage on the 2024 holiday document about the floating holiday. It absolutely is on the 2023, noted in both the list with a section at the bottom asterisked explaining it.

They took it away. We got +.5 days. What a bold faced lie.

The policy in archer hasn’t been updated since June 2023, and it does not reflect the newly added holidays.

CNET shows the 2024 schedule and if you compare it to 2023, the 2023 mentions a floating holiday. 2024 doesnt note a floating holiday.

The policy in Archer still says we get a personal floating holiday. Where are y'all seeing it taken away?

Count the holidays off from 2023. There are 11 which included 1 floating holiday. Count the days off in 2024. There are 11.5 and there is no floating holiday.

The way they worded that press release was very deceptive. They made it sound like we are getting 2 additional days off and never told us we were losing our floating holiday.

And now some will have to take PTO for their other religious holidays- Jewish, Muslim, Hindu etc. Where exactly is the diversity?

We gained 1.5 days.

Looks like they gave us Juneteenth and Veterans day in place of floating holidays and New Years Eve is a half day instead of a whole day off. In 2023 we received 2 floating holidays and New Years Eve off the whole day.
