Any info on how severance is calculated?
I have a meeting tomorrow and scared. Been with them for 7 years in California pharmacy. Is it the standard 2 weeks in the severance package?

Severance is calculated on a number of different criteria. What role you are in, what salary grade, how long at the company, what % bonus you were eligible for etc. Don't expect two people in the same role to get the exact same $$. Also, hourly roles likely won't get much if any severance...at least that is how it was before.
Given that we're in Q4 already, they really ought to pay out bonuses to those that are eligible though. You've already worked for the year.
I have been with the company 3.5 years and received 10 weeks .
Yes manager reached out to me and told me she will give me the heads up from now regarding tomorrow so I am not taken by surprise.
Notified today but your meeting is tomorrow?
What department are you ? Didn’t know California people getting fired :(
"APPARENTLY" it's 3 weeks pay for every 1 year you've been with the company. Not sure if that's the truth, just what i've read in some of the comments.
