My department manager just posted on our TEAMS site the 2024 holiday calendar. I cannot believe how tone deaf and insensitive these people are. 2,0000 of our friends and colleagues are going to be getting devastating news this week…but who cares, right?? Let them eat cake!
But it isn’t really. They took away the float holiday. We already get a full day New Year’s Eve and now it will be a half day. So really it’s an extra half day a year. It’s just time to keep people from noticing the lay offs.
I saw that when I logged on this morning and it really ticked me off. Seriously, what an insult to those that have been served their walking papers 😢
