Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

It all makes sense now. The outsourcing of Medicare UM Intake to a vendor in the Philippines. The quality went down and the complaints went up. They saved a ton of money, but at a cost of our Star Ratings. Then they began moving departments, tasks and reports to corporate teams. Managers knew this was coming. I have had the worst experience at this company with middle managers. Some are so abusive, and horrible that I hope they are the ones to get laid off. I know of an employee who had a manager drunk call her during Covid screaming at her. One supervisors let it slip that the company they use for Short Term Disability will tell the manager the diagnosis for which the staff are out. They targeted layoffs accordingly.
