They used deceptive recruiting practices during 2021 and 2022 only to renege on many promises to lure talent away from good solid companies. The people that left threw away solid jobs/careers in lieu of what was promised only to be bamboozled by this place. In my opinion that constitutes fraud and should be investigated thoroughly and the employees they lied too should be compensated for said fraud. Thoughts?

Eventually there will be something. Not a class action but a blockbuster individual law suit that will make waves and give everyone watching who experienced the same thing a template to follow. usaa is on borrowed time with the way they're treating people. 99.2% are going to slink away in shame and try not to burn bridges. eventually, they will tick off somebody who has family money, time on their hands, a friend who specializes in employment law, take your pick. For a company that can't get AML right, can't get Reg E overdrafts right, can't get SCRA or MLA right - heck, go ahead and fill in any other alphabet reg that comes to mind as a ticking time bo-b - It's very doubtful they have there ducks in a row with regards to employment law. Just set a google alert & watch the news. I've seen a recurring theme of titanic metaphors on here and personally think a more apt comparison is the recent submersible implosion. (The captain and officers of the Cunard liner were known to be decent and honorable.)
Corporations can pretty much do as they please regarding employees... Business climate changes, too bad. I have a friend that quit his job and before he started at the new company the offer was rescinded. Look out for number one, always. But also realize your employer will do what's best for the corporation, always.

I’m not the OP. I was responding to the main post “How is there not a class action…”
The answer is “easily”.
@mak+1oSLqNdy
Do you have written documented proof for your claim? If so, what do you have? This may help others. Also, did you sign an arbitration agreement when you onboarded? I ask this because you are mentioning a class action suit but offer nothing to back up the claim for others to join the cause. Don't be submissive if you want others to join in.
@cck+1oSLqNdy
You are 100% correct. Fortunately, I am no longer there but working at USAA set my career back at least 5 years. Glad I got out when I did.
They are an insurance company. They know what it means to lawyer up. They have everyone sign arbitration agreements. They may be bad at a lot of things, but protecting themselves from lawsuits is not one of them.
easily. next question.
Do you have the proof to submit for the claim?
