As Drew was flying through his remarks it seems that he accidentally said too much. It does appear that many missed it though. He stated over 3% were to be laid off in 2024 and quickly ran to side track with comments about hires for 2025. Hold onto your seat folks you’re in for a bump ride from the subtext of that comment. There have been rumors of more to follow even on these threads that commentary will make you fear the worst. Watch out for yourselves my friends, you all work your behinds off and the only one that’s going to protect you is yourself. May the odd be ever in your favor.

How smug was that to boast about strong hiring 2025 when they had employees listening to that Town Hall. Employees listening who are about to be laid off, some to be laid off in the near future and probably more in 2024. So cruel. If I am not gone next week; I don't think I want to stay around much longer anyway. Why would I want to work for such heartless, inconsiderate jerks, who offer low quality health plans to the public.
Sc-mbags with money were on that stage yesterday.
Where can we find information on how many layoffs it will be? Where is the 9000 number coming from? I did not know this was the second wave of layoffs. When is the 3rd wave? How did they determine who to cut? It's very demoralizing.
I wonder what the layoff number was for the first waive? If 9k total in three waves and the 2nd wave which is happening now is 2k then the last wave will probably be the massive wave... s m h
There were no accidents in that messaging. It was very much planned and said in an intentional way.
They are sending a message to everyone because attendance was going to be off the charts for that town hall.
They don’t want anyone to feel too secure in their roles. The more people who quit, the fewer they have to lay off and pay severance too.
They don’t want anyone surprised to see more media articles or hear more rumors of layoffs. It can come at any time, in any volume, to any team.
This leak has pretty much blown the doors off of the cat and mouse game.
Yes.
How is he able to predict strong hiring in 2025 after an additional layoffs in 2024.
He wasn't being honest thats all I can say.
The layoff number is around 9000 employees in three waves
