Layoffs have started at HQ. Is Target trying to get around the WARN Act by limiting the layoffs by groups?

Different time zones also miss the sync with team members. With PST, EST, CST time zones we get very little time to collaborate. Hybrid in HQ will solve this problem.
I’ve heard rumblings that a number of teams are pushing back on fully remote.
High time to impose hybrid work for everyone. No remote!
Perhaps if workers were less focused on coffee and walking kids to bus stops they would be more productive.
Target has the most unproductive workforce out there
Layoffs are brewing for Target workers that is for sure. As a worker in the home service industry I see "work at home" target employees doing everything but working. Walking kids to busses, laundry, visiting with neighbors. It is hard to feel sorry for someone getting laid off from "not working from home" time to go to work 🤣
Looks like scrum masters and agile coaches, saw in my LinkedIn....
What groups were impacted?
No organization gets 'around' the WARN act. Either the organization meets the criteria or it doesn't. There are requirements for the act and it isn't just the number of people.
