It was "canned clapping", you know the kind they use on TV sitcoms when someone says something funny. Not really from the audience. Fake audience.

I know someone that works with one person that was in that room and that dude is all about su-king up, so I’m sure he has done his best not to be in the chopping block. He got a ticket to go and no one in his team knew until the day before the meeting.
