How is Elevance/Anthem able to hide their layoff from the news? And Centene's layoff got a headline within 48 hours?

To journalist , try contacting former HR and managers via LinkedIn who are now retired. They still talk with current staff.
I am a journalist and I am interested in covering this story. Do you think someone would be willing to send me the layoff notices? And/or does anyone have documentation stating how many folks are affected?
Centene's was a leak of confidential documents to the media, forced the CEO to sorta of address it at a townhall a few days later.
If this leak did not happen it would of been all hush hush like the layoffs that were done in August at Centene.
They used money to.pay of the media.
There are so many layoffs happening, this is just one of many. Not big news.
It could be that no one has come forward. And until someone makes it public it will not become national news.
Maybe because there is absolutely no transparency with this company and it used to be better in the past.
No one wants to acknowledge the elephant in the room.
It would be easier to process if it was just acknowledged with sincerity.
