Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Layoffs are here to stay

Please, do whatever you can to be prepared. There will be more rounds in the coming months and the months after that. This leadership has shown again and again that their main resource when the going gets tough is cuts. That won't change until we have new leadership, which is highly unlikely to happen.

I just found out a couple of my friends were laid off this morning. Most departments are running on skeleton crews and there continues to be lay offs. Such sad and stressful times.

Not to sound like them. But cuts probably have to do with using that money for R&D. The point is when Gail feels the munchies, layoff money is her best bet to splurge.
