Mark had his group of stiffs that he brought along as he climbed the corporate ladder. Can’t count how many times he verbally insulted others with his limited wit and disrespect It amazed many of us how he was promoted over other better qualified candidates. Never followed through on getting key initiatives completed with any sort of quality or real ROI success.
The best part of Mark Brooks's IT Townhalls was the constant reminder of "well, at least we're not Philip Morris. I'd have a tough time waking up in the morning if I worked there."
As in, yeah, Centene takes as much as they can from the government while returning the bare minimum to our "underserved" communities, BUT AT LEAST WE DON'T MANUFACTURE CIGARETTES!
The former CNC CIO had his cronies or people who babysat his kids who he hired as Leaders reporting to him (aka Veep) . Always over his head in the role. RGA can have him. He never did clean up the systems or advance the consolidation or NextGen capabilities as advertised. Originally from the great Healthnet org. who outsourced IT functions. Is that the best candidate to lead the CNC IT Dept?
