How did it end?

Sort of. I knew for months that my last day would be January 7th, 2022. Leading up to that day, I said no to all new tasks assigned to me. I worked hard to get all of my current responsibilities completed before my last day. Obviously, it's important to have all of your financial ducks in a row. You will most likely not get severance when you get fired. Good luck.
i reduce my workload once a day. sometime after morning coffee but before lunch
This is a ridiculous question, when there is no work and no future.
Why bother to ask for workload to be reduced? Just do what you can and what you are paid for. Leave additional workoad in the pending to do tasks list till you are done with current work and don't try to multitask or go to extra mile to satisfy management unreasonable demands.
Go ahead and try it. Please report back ASAP.
Massive project??
I was told by my boss that she understood and then she assigned me another massive project.
No need to do in LCO..because we never have a workload
Chill and njoy ..
Just ask: "Which one you like me to work on first? What is higher priority", "sure I can work on this, but it may affect that"..
You get a severance package.
Fear is your worst enemy.
Plenty of other jobs out there, go free and prosper
I'm overworked but I can't get my courage up to do something about it.
