Tamla wins with reduced benefits starting 2024

Severely reduced benefits coming in 2024 and she calls it enhanced and exciting.

With all of the “enhanced” benefit changes, why are we still using Delta Dental? So many employees have issues with this company. Many have voiced issues and have been ignored. Life Company offers customers a better plan than Delta Dental. Shouldn’t employees be using the same benefits offered to members? There are employees who are purchasing the Life Co plan separately since their dentist accepts it and offers better rates. When will the employees have a voice on benefit plans? Tampa, Wendy, and Asa are out of touch with the needs of the employees. Stop worrying about over investing and start taking care of our employees real needs!

Yeah, the health insurance move is bullsh-t. I plan on looking elsewhere.

She will tell with a straight face and a smile that 2 - 2 is the same as 2 + 2, because the same numbers are in the equation. That's how less benefits turn into "enhanced" benefits. That's how having almost no PTO with no frontloading in the beginning of the year is "enhanced" PTO.

Not sure how they can even claim that benefits are better… I’m literally reading a chart of how all these deductibles and premiums are increasing. Nvm we will have less PTO to cash out. Will we even have PTO hours Jan 1? I would hate to have to “borrow PTO” in Jan after being forced to use up all previously earned PTO by end of year…

Come on! These benefit cuts/price increases are needed to keep the Peacock's plumage bright, fluffy and shiny! Exciting, right?

Please remember USAA over invested in our employees. The benefit cuts are just realigning our employee investment strategy. Thank you Tamla and Wendy for taking care of USAA’s bottom line and the members money. Remember the less money we spend on the lower employees the bigger the bonuses are for the EMG and above.

Exciting for her, but not for the rest of us. Might as well get health insurance somewhere else.
