Yes. The purchase of WellCare by Centene led to WellCare’s downfall, for sure.

WellCare was incredibly profitable in Medicare. Centene has only run it into the ground.

I just know when it was WellCare, I felt like valued employee. I felt proud to work here. Once Centene took over, all the benefits and small perks disappeared. The only nice thing Centene has done for us since they took over is that cost of living increase we got last year. I miss the unity that we had with WellCare. Those days are long gone. Zero employee appreciation. We're just a number.

Let’s not blame the WellCare side or the Centene side, we’re both walking in the same pretty green grassy pasture that’s really a dirty swamp living off of dirty rotting sewage water. If you have been at either company long enough you know this is correct. Let’s come together and beat the dirty swamp leaders at their own game. Expose everything. Who do you think the dirty swamp leaders have doing their dirty work? Yep, the little worker bees, US. The swamp leaders are all putting on a good show, lying to us, being sneaky and deceptively scaring everyone into submission with layoffs, PIPs, extra work, stink work hours, blocking vacation, etc. Did anyone consider the leaking of documents was a play by the dirty swamp team? For pity, a show to the board, to distract from what is really going on. I do not think the leaker is part of the dirty swamp, I have respect for the leaker being courageous enough to put themselves in harms way but this is just a thought that we need to hear and really consider. The dirty swamp leaders are selling off parts of the company, doing silent layoffs, reorganizing teams, combining along with restructuring job roles, cutting supervisors, promoting slackers, outsourcing work, moving all job’s into SS for something that’s coming and it’s not to line their dirty pockets especially when you make millions, a few hundred thousand dollars is minuscule when you’re paid 13 million right? So let’s ask ourselves what is really going on in the dirty swamp? Let’s expose the dirty swamp for what is really going on. As many readers out there, someone knows something, let’s hear it….go!

Wellcare has a past of criminal history and shady practices, to top it off despite representing only 15% of the revenue and weak margins , they gave the reins of Centene to Drew and his close circle, Sarah the poet jump into the bandwagon because she is just a clown, nothing good in the horizon for Centene

Yes!
To the 20+ years person.
It is like Centene can't fully align any of the company's they buy!
You would of thought they had enough practice with all the previous companies prior to Wellcare.

Lol, trust, Wellcare people felt the downfall of Centene buying us right away. Everything was upended, thrown off track, and centene platforms slow the work flow way down.

Neither side has been happy since the buyout!

20+ years at centene and IMHO it’s not WellCare, it’s too many acquisitions in general. we still have at least 6 different systems that pay claims; until that’s consolidated we’ll be playing catch-up. and losing.
