My advice after going though this myself is don't do any work at all. Literally nothing. Spend all your time on your resume, interviews, connections and refreshing your skills. If you get another job just abandon your current position. In my state the only info Anthem can give out is your years of service. With all the mix of feelings it's easy to work to the very end and tell yourself you'll keep your head high on the last day. Nobody will care and it's a waste of time. Put yourself first. Also save vacation to the very end because that is when they will lean on you to train your replacement.
Are you saying you will get let go and lose your severance after informed your last day of 10/20? I don’t quite get that statement about “sup”. What is sup? Supervisor??
I am working this week, and start using up my PTO, Sick/Short term Disability. Starting next week I will doing 2 days at work until I use up all my days.
Any negative feedback can impact SUP. just doing basic work attending all meetings and using all PTO hrs.
Please all, stop snitching on yourselves on this site. Just do your dirt in silence like we all do.
If you are wanting severance just power through it. Do the basics of your job but nothing else. If somebody asks for a favor, deny the request. Additional work, nope. Also, make sure you use all of your PTO, even if it puts your team in a bad spot. That’s not your problem any longer.
