Can I take it as a guarantee that an internship will be followed up by a job offer?

seriously, go work someplace else. They try to make you think the culture is great but this is a raging dumpster fire
Lol no
Dell is full of seasoned politicians.
why would anyone with skills want to intern here and learn then craft of lying and backstabbing ?
Nope.
only if you do all those stupid mandatory classes that they're making us do before December.
Dont bother.Dell will chew you up and sp-t you out when they have got enough from you.
Learn a trade.
Oh and I still work at Dell.

Dell su-ks a-s.
Not a guarantee at all. Not all BU's have approved demand for FT hires (demand is planned in June for the following recruiting season). And if they do have demand, you still have to do a good job during your internship. If your BU doesn't have approved demand but you still do a good job, a lot of times they will try to help you find a role with a different business.
More than half of the interns I've observed got offers.
Guaranteed, no. Likely if you perform, yes.
Dependant on my performance, of course.
