If you people think that reaching the magical 1500 will fix this company, I have some swamp land you might be interested in purchasing. There is plenty more to trim past the 1500, don't expect it to stop at an arbitrary number.

It’s funny how some of teams at Suncor being advised to be in office for next two weeks. Where WFH is already ending by Oct 15. So there will be crazy weeks ahead!!!

At around 1400 now. But that does include ~50 contingent and ~10 students.

How to run this SAP query?

The SAP query is called /L@y0ff$

Does the SAP query take into account FT employees? I'd imagine it contains students and contingents. I think the number of FT is closer to 1100

Original post said employed for 12 years and no RSUs received in that time. Now you’re saying two years?

No one else reported benefits paid out for severance so you must be full of it. If you got 24 months for 2 yrs its not cause you were good but cause they gave credit for previous employment. Not the case for 99% of people.

It all su-ks as the process is not very transparent. It’s up to the day of that particular HR person dealing with the case. While lot of variations found from some of the lucky exiters!!

RSUs have nothing to do with entry level roles or su-king at your job… RSUs were about retaining folks that needed retaining if the level was limited to a nomination and it was serious disappointment for many of us “high performers”.

The annual bonus was for performance and since “HR” is reading… then maybe they can add some insight into how annual bonuses were not factored into our reverence… instead of feeling the need to chime in Wi--y Nilly.

Benefits end upon termination. Payout is a monthly payment equal to salary. If one finds employment that pays 85% one needs to inform Suncor and remaining payments are cut in half.

Yes not good at my job that’s why I was terminated with 24 months pay and benefits for 2 years. Because I su-k.
Too bad you won’t be getting paid out your RSU’s when Kruger eliminates your role.

No RSUs in 12 years? You either su-k at what you do or you never tried moving past the entry level role you were first hired in.

It isn’t just a matter of layoffs, but also significant demotions - all based on “wrong place, wrong time “ or “who you know”, with pure disregard for talent, potential and experience. Note: GM / director / manager levels have been decimated with almost no impact to VPs and above … all while being a dollar target, and not headcount target. Getting to savings of $400M without taking a haircut above GM means the people NOT responsible for inflating the organization are the ones being severed :(

RSU’s ?!? Employed 12 years never got them , In Category Management it was all based on Favoritism! Thank God , I’m done with the place!

When I was offered a position in 2021, I was close to turning it down as pay wasn’t stellar. But a former colleague convinced me the RSUS would make it worthwhile. So here we are two years later, returning to five-days-a-week with impending doom under Kruger. Suncor is the most bureaucratic company where I have been employed. Pick me. Please !!!

I heard we crossed the 1000 mark. That’s it. No clue about ground breakdowns. Fort Mac as been spared so far…wonder if that will change?
