I've been here for a year. It's unreal what I've seen. I have not met anyone who wants to be here. It's really twisted.

These health insurance companies are the worst. I've worked for a few of them. They are all laying off and firing people. You can go to their boards on this site and read the posts, it's the samething that is being posted our our board.
@1ugq+1oMOoerv Yeah, I'm selling out my morals because I haven't been able to beat the salary and benefits. Even when I think I've found a contender, I discover there's no bonus or their health insurance is with someone even worse for 35-50% more --- and their PTO is always worse. I've burnt bridges all over the industry because even when I'm headhunted, once I see the details I simply can't see clear to jump. But make no mistake, I know I'm selling my soul.
The upside is that I even the score by sharing with friends and family how the industry actually works, and after I lay some knowledge on them, I f them up further by telling them that the others are even worse (which they are).
I have a good, caring team, so that keeps me going through the day to day.
Will you get paid out for your 401K and Bonus if you get laid off and have not reached the min time?
I’ve been here 14 years and believe it or not, when I first started it was a pretty good place to work. Slowly, year over year, this place has gotten to be a toxic sh-t hole of a company. They are motivated by profits only. They do not care about the members and certainly do not care about the employees. Their greed has driven them to move work offshore and to spend millions on implementing AI.
The only reason I am staying for now is to hopefully get my RIF and severance so I can have them pay me to look for a new job full-time.
They may lie & say they love it to save face.
No moral compass can see this type of corruption & be OK with it. We just need our paychecks.
