Looking back, things really got significantly worse after the CTL merger.

Then with the L3 merger, it went from bad to worse.

Notebaert's big mistake was "saving" Qwest from bankruptcy. Kept the shareholders whole but ended up treading water for the next decade until CTL brought it. Pick your poison.

Three of the other four all can rely on their cell networks as well as their fiber infrastructure. AT&T was heavily mismanaged for years under Stephenson. We're light years behind all if them & don't have the technology or revenue streams.

The current situation we are in is from decades of lost battles. The best solution is to do an 11 reorganization to lose the debt. I don't support that since it ki-ls the majority of our retirements & pensions. These companies don't care about the stockholders or you & I. Only their golden parachutes for executives & board of directors.

If course, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Charter/Spectrum are all doing poorly also.

Just not as low as LUMN.

I doubt they can all be risk of BK.

(Verizon) - VZ 1.21 now, 1.51 median 10 year

(AT&T) - T .45 now, .96 median 10 year

TMUS - 1.23 now, 1.1 median 10 year

CHTR .76, .86 median 10yr
