Layoff Selection Process Doc'ed in the Severance Package

Question: for the group who were impacted and received the severance document, does Exhibit A regarding the list of folks Eligible vs. Ineligible and the "Eligibility Factors for Participating" seem like your VP had the opportunity to select who they deemed worthy to stay out of the folks marked as "Eligible"?

Nice to see that those who need less help with COBRA and health insurance get it subsidized by TMO longer than the line employees:

Q: How many months will T-Mobile cover for my COBRA premium?
A. Exempt and Non-Exempt employees are eligible for 2 months of T- Mobile subsidized premiums. Directors are eligible for 4 months of T-Mobile subsidized premiums. Vice Presidents are eligible for 6 months of T-Mobile Subsidized premiums.

The hits just keep coming....

I didn’t realize we had geriatric groups. Average age of 50?! We don’t even have a single person in our group who’s 50.

While there was no demographic information, I did "run the numbers" in my group. The average age of the whole group was 50. The average age of those laid off was mid 50's, with the oldest being laid off in their early 70's and the youngest in their mid 40's.

So, this layoff was DEFINITELY targeted to an over 50 demographic. But without pay scale, race or gender provided, you can't really say anything else meaningful about what happened.

See that in mine too. Position / ages / elig & inelig to be laid off.

Our group is smallish so I know who the various people are. I can confirm that VPs could have a set number of “saves”.

Mine had positions and ages only. No other demographic info.

I do not have any pages listing demographic information of others laid off.

Not entirely sure if mine shows a very specific demographic page, but it is a page called "Exhibit A" which landed pretty early in my papers with a list of about 20 folks, ranging from several ages. Based on the folks that were eligible and selected, I can't help but have a hunch that VPs were able to pick and select out of that group to eliminate. Any feelings or thoughts that some of you may think or feel as well?

With all the under 40 sacrifices sprinkled in...yep.

The last few pages show the demographic so you can’t claim s-xism, ageism, etc

Are you referring to a demographic statistic page that some have mentioned on here before? My paperwork doesn't seem to have that.
