PTO Payout?

First, I am truly sorry for everyone whose week ended so terribly. It makes me sick, also makes me think twice about staying…so many of us who are left, especially with tenure and at/over MRP are feeling we have targets on our backs and they could draw and fire on them at any moment. We’re all sitting ducks and it makes you want to do bare minimum.
My question is re: PTO…for those of you who were RIF’d and had PTO banked, are they paying you out any of it or are you losing it if you don’t use it before your date? Pretty sure I know the answer given everything but still wondering.
I know it might not resonate, but please know there are people still here who are furious and heartbroken over the carnage of the last few days, and the cruel and insensitive way messaging was delivered.

I was told No PTO payout. I am not happy. I earned it and it should be paid. If known 10/20 was my last day I would have used it. I always take Holiday weeks off and save PTO back for it. I have 88 hours as of 9/21. I asked if I could take it and HR said I could take some but not all in the 30 days. The purpose of the 30 days was to transition the work. Betting they wont have a clue till the very end how or who is going to take my work. I should get my PTO paid.

There will be no PTO payouts but I think it’s up to management discretion how much can be taken before last day.

The policy changed on paying out PTO when separating employment a few years back when they capped our rollover balance at the end of the year to 40.

PTO payout is based on if your state requires it. Mine does not so my mgr has told me she will “work with me” so that I can use all my PTO prior to my last date with the company.
