I truly feel for those of you who have been laid off. I'm sorry. My heart goes out to you. It has been a brutal week. I hope you each find youself in better circumstances!
I am preparing for the possibility of layoff in future rounds. I have several questions. Do managers and above have any ability or influence to defend your job if HR wants to lay you off? Does anyone know what the early retirement offer looks like? Is there a requirement for minimum years employed, etc? What happens to stocks and options that haven't vested when one is laid off or takes early retirement? Thank you.
