Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

It's time to move on

Well folks! I think it's time to leave this dumpster fire. You would have to be insane to stay here.

If you are vested for the severance package my advice is to just ride it out until you get Riffed. Last thing you want to do is give into stress and leave voluntarily. If you do, you are giving away the severance money that you totally deserve and worked for. Just do what is expected of you and nothing more. Come on time and leave on time … nobody gets any medals anymore from working too hard. Take care and coming from someone who went through what most of you are going through believe me there is life after this insane company.

totally agree. I would have left already but at my age, it will be hard to find work.

I'm going to stick it out until I get RIF'd. It will be a welcome break, and I know it's only a matter of time. I agree with the OP that no one is safe.

I survived, but , all this tells me is that it’s time to go…if they didn’t get you this time, what makes you think it won’t be next round, or not long after that? It’s just a matter of time, why wait to find out when? Nobody here is safe, this affected VPs to front line workers. All loyalty and motivation is completely shot after this. If you didn’t know it before, employees are not valued here, we’re just another line item on a budget, nothing more. Nothing drives that home more than knowing that they don’t even acknowledge this RIF or reassure those who remain, truly classless. Time to take back some control and go on your own terms before they pull the rug out again. Thanks to all who posted here… many were oblivious. Truly disappointed, bless you all
