Vendors want more education time for their employees and revision of education material. We were asked to redo some of the material to "simplify" and given until end of November to do it. So would expect most Claims impacts to not happen now until 1st or 2nd quarter 2024. FWIW the vendoris training over 700 of their employees on all levels of Claims functions and they have a lot of certified adjusters in their ranks. They are also planning on moving and hiring another 300 or so within their vendor operations in 2024 to work Allstate Claims roles.

Is this why they keep pushing “development” on us!?
@gnm+1oJL94d7. The company is very shady, and this site does have some good info on it. It's just all the trolls and mo--ns blur the good info by fear mongering and making stupid and ignorant comments to get a rise out of people. However, what has been rumored for a while is that claims was to be being outsourced to vendors and India adjusters by end of 2023... originally. This was the next stage after the 2020 layoffs and all that nonsense about consolidating the company to 4 hubs and building a huge campus in Arizona to move home office operations too. Apparently, there have been a few snags, and it looks like 2024 will be the big year that claims gets outsourced. Also, its been rumored since 2020 that Agency is gone by end of 2025 and looking at the actions of this company towards its agency seems pretty accurate. Honestly the only real secret is if this company will be sold off by the end of this decade or not, because all the things that have been happening the past few years seems like a bigger plan is in the making.
Wow, with those numbers it sounds like they eventually plan on gutting as much of the onshore Claims operations as they possibly can. We appreciate the update. NO ONE in Claims will even give us courtesy to address our concerns regarding layoffs. They don't confirm or deny or give any semblance They simply just ignore the questions. I have been in Claims for 13 years and with the company for 19 so I will be holding out for severance and eating up unemployment and taking every penny that I am entitled to. Best to all.
The idiocy of this company is intolerable. I am getting out before the bo-m comes down. These past 3 years have been he-l. This company treats their employees like mushrooms. They keep them in the dark and feed them bullsh-t. Severance and unemployment is not worth the wait. I can make more money working for myself through internet work from home jobs. Good luck to all.
We appreciate the update. Sure is the only one we're getting. The silence from DSM up is deafening.
