Executives spend with consulting firms and other large vendors to secure their board seats or next job.
HR brought in McKinsey within the last few months. Deloitte is ever present.
Side note: Deloitte botched the SPS development/roll-out and the first/second attempt for the Cloud migration.
It’s not McKinsey, it’s Deloitte.
Are they responsible for a number of displaced American by promoting outsourcing and H1B? How would anyone law abiding such as Elevance know about changing job titles after a layoff?
This technique is to get around the government rules meant to prevent companies from obtaining H1B visa's LCA approvals on the same job titles within 6 months of American workers' layoff.
Now you just change the titles, you are free to apply H1B LCA approvals after layoff American workers.
Those consulting companies exist and flourish because they spread info they learned from their previous client companies and many companies converge to somewhere.
I agree
McKinsey are King makers. They help polish executives for higher ups and this is their reward.
We are spending millions on powerpoint slides that takes nowhere.
That's all waste.
And execs are too blind to figure out that we know how they waste resources, from 'makes-no-sense' acquisitions, to excessive pay, excessive perks, to use of consultants...
It makes me sick.
