Multiple posts about confirmations from claims on hiring 300 appraisers or 2000 total people to cut loss costs and than another post talking about everyone being laid off and vendors taking over
Talk about opposite sides of the spectrum

Allstate did announce mass hiring of field adjusters in the next few months, We found out in our huddle 2 weeks ago.
Where do you go for other bits of factual information because this company’s idea of transparency is a concrete wall.
Yes there are some stupid posts like “Scottsdale and Security Guards” for sure, but there are more pieces of intel in terms of bits of information signaling things to likely come that if you’re especially in the know, know are real when you read in between the lines because the need to share a certain way. Being a non-believer toe the company person or creator of junk should be reasons to look for other information outlets for sure. I offer if you’re able to not bite on the clown and troll posts which there clearly are some, and be open to the others you will gain insights that are in play that may or may not play out, but are more real then fake.
The misinformation and BS on this site is eyeball deep. And 9 times out of 10 it can be attributed to dull witted, low performing bellyachers with stagnant skill sets and lousy work ethics who actually have the audacity to be shocked that their job is being eliminated, etc. Coming to this site for factual information on what is or isn't happening at Allstate...the good, the bad and the the ugly...is not a productive exercise. Rather this has devolved into a forum for the bellyachers who have minimal shot of finding comparable type employment outside of Allstate.
The post about the hiring 2,000 adjusters over the next few years was real. A claims officer named Cheryl presented at the agent conference a few weeks ago and told us that is their plan. There should be a recording of it on Gateway. Whether we actually do this is or not and where the people come from are up for debate, but she did say it.
The claims layoffs or vendor swaps are for unskilled jobs that anyone with a pulse can do.
Company doesn't need to pay top dollar to someone who just processes payments.
Skilled jobs are not being vendored out because that was a good part of the problem in LAE
So, where do you think the "signal to noise ratio" is higher: here or in a town hall?
People need to get off the porch and realize the world is bigger than all they can see from it.
A multi-billion dollar company has a lot of moving parts and often does contradictory moves coming from different initiatives.
Most any company doing layoffs is also still hiring. Hiring is a near constant as are layoffs/attrition.
This forum has identified many anomalies/shifts that arise and help give insight to how the puppeteers at HQ are pulling the strings. Yes, there is a fair amount of crying wolf here but there have also been loads of insights offered that you may never hear about otherwise.
If it's not working for you here, I would be shocked to find out anyone is forcing you to stay.
The National Catastrophe Team is expanding by 100s of positions. That went out via email on 9/19.
Yes and no. Some posts on here are fake but there are a lot of real posts. I work for a vendor now but when I was with allstate this site predicted the layoffs both times and me getting shifted to the vendor before it happened. I will say this. If you see the same post from different people and they say they have an inside source it may be true. If it's a one off then it may not be true
