Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Third Party Contractors

More insurance business is being farmed out to the third party companies that have been part of our reality for a few years now.

This includes the contractors now becoming Helpline agents. And Umbrella policies are being handed to them.

And apparently these third party outfits and USAA have learned a few things from each other. The contractor companies are getting more money. But I was told just today by someone I've come to know over the phone the past few years that they have not been given raises from increased duties.

Which third parties are run by Former USAA executives? Please point those out, thank you.

Some of those third party companies look like USAA Jr. Former USAA executives are running these companies and are making money at the same time not caring that USAA is being destroyed.

I never call the regular help line only billing HL and the first time in years I called HL because I had a very complex issue and the 3rd party rep had no clue how to help me. I ended up just reaching out to a IP 1. I think that It was a mistake to make this change with auto HL. Auto has so many more variables and is more complex than property policies in my opinion. I really hope that they are training these reps sufficiently. Doubt it though!

I’m sure those gains will go back to our Members, the true owners of USAA, she wrote with heavy sarcasm.
