Heard they finally took Edmonds out as Auto VP. He single handedly had huge role in down fall of Claims. Poster boy for nepotism and good old boy network. Magnificent decision that was 18 months overdue.
Nice headline and strategy, but it will be difficult to attract and retain auto staff. The Company has over-indexed to virtual estimating and direct repair, and its reputation in the industry has been tarnished. Allstate may not be an attractive destination for skilled estimators, as we've burned many bridges to build the current model.
As auto VP, Craig had accountability to call time out and cite the LAE impacts. His blind allegiance to CCO positioned him to be unprepared for Officer role. Offers value of < 0. Ditch him.
Workflow and Segmentation to Experts as the same or similar scale as circa 2018 is simply building a bridge backwards. Experts will always be needed but no longer at a 90:10 ratio. It should be 40:60 by now and perhaps way more. Level someone has achieved should never be confused with capability regardless on tenure or generation.
Craig was just the puppet for Eric pulling all the strings. Notice how quickly everything shifted since he's gone.
No thanks. I'll pass on those.
This one is on Edmonds. Yes man who had no courage to cite impact to LAE. Novice knows that vendor usage leads to massive $$ overpayments. No leadership at all by Craig in this space. Shameful.
