Especially when that company's name is T-Mobile.

Be loyal to people the ones you speak into the lives and speaking to yours. Companies serve companies. Servant leaders serve people. Everyone will quickly learn who was a true friend and who wasn't after they get laid off. The nice thing is you get to take your true friends with you on top of the severance and those people are priceless
Unless I’m getting paid OT I would never work extra hours over my time. That’s why I refuse to take a salary role. Being hourly has its benefits sometimes
It's all the same no matter what company you're talking about.
When your skills are needed they'll put you to work. When you're no longer needed, or they can't afford you, your employment will end.
It's that cut and dry
So many people buy into the Magenta cult and really really believe the company cares about them (my manager is one of them!)
Listen...YOU ARE EXPENDABLE. Never believe it. T-Mobile is the worst because they'll drag on and on about how much the care and DO THE RIGHT THING. It's all a farce. They're just as bad as every other greedy, controlling corporation out there. What makes it worse is they pi-s on you and try to call it rain.
T-Mobile is no better and no worse. It’s just another company. Sorry some people bought into the cult for a while.
All you owe any company is 40 hrs a week, no more, no less. For T-Mobile, the SLT thinks that those left will pick up the slack. DON'T!!! I for one, keep track of the hours I work. I averaged +5 to +10 hrs per week. Not any more. They will only get 40 hrs from here on out. It is a disgrace that Mikey, Deanne, and the rest of the SLT get the payout they get, while simultaneously reducing staff to save money. What a disgrace!
I'll always be loyal to a company that's loyal to me. If I can ever find one.
