Thread regarding USAA layoffs

USAA is using bots to manipulate the voting on this website

Crazy to me they care so much about the upvotes on a small website like this, how bad is this company failing internally?

You can go use multiple browsers on multiple devices/desktops amd it take 10 seconds to manipulate the vote. You get 10 people from HR and they can vote 50 times pretty easily.

The joke's on them. Whoever is doing it he's waisting his time, as vote manipulations are against website's rules and those votes get reseted periodically.

Not that they the website admins would even care, but why are you attacking the open platform we’re using to talk? I like the freedom and near-complete anonymity it provides vs Reddit. Just take everything posted here with a grain of salt

And who knows if the layoff itself doesn’t get kickbacks from USAA for extra votes? It’s hard to trust anything. Do what’s best for your situation

I think it was someone in "Attention Employees" refreshing the browser and upvoting. Reddit has better voting functionality.

I am curious where the "follow" button went. I'm no longer seeing it.

Someone definitely messed with that particular vote, though.

I don’t think they would need to use bots, whether they’re manipulating it or not. The anonymous nature of this website makes it easy for people to misrepresent. It’s just not worth the effort to set up a macro unless they were doing it across the website. As far as I can tell, the rest of the votes seem pretty normal.
