Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Dear Charlie -

I’m not leaving here without my severance package.

I’ve worked here a lot longer than you have. I’ve worked hard and have done my job well. I’ve done what’s right for Wells Fargo customers. I’ve been a team player and care about my teammates. I have gotten my a-s to the office through snow and ice, endless road construction, market crashes, technology failures and have survived 3 other oblivious CEOs.

I’m not walking away for free. The harder you try to force us out, the more I enjoy not letting you have it.

Like other Wells Fargo employees, I am a Survivor. I can outwit, outplay and outlast you. If you want me out, you’re going to have to pay me.

So many downvotes...as if someone really hates what OP said. You know what? Instead of paying the criminal Carrie T millions of dollars for her severance package, WF should give a bigger severance package to every hard working employees.

It’s odd that anyone would react to this post above others more critical of Wells Fargo.

So many downvotes, deleted posts and troll posts. Sometimes WF Insider Threat team tries control the posts on the Layoff.com. WF Insider Threat team serves WF executive leadership. Whenever there is a reputational damage, the stock price will go down, which means their compensation will go down. That's why they are trying to control the information.

Insider Threat team uses a unique system to monitor and identify any negative words or phrases on the social media/news websites. They have a task force to control any negative information posted on the websites. If you use a work computer, they can even record your computer screen, websites you visited, and key strokes. So be careful.

OP here.

I’m all good. My goal is always to speak up for myself and the employees. It’s an outlet for me. Sometimes I attempt to be satirical, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes antagonistic towards our so-called leaders, often try to pull the news together in one place for maximum impact, am always critical of our self-serving C- Suite.

I appreciate any positive feedback and don’t expect everyone to agree with me. That’s what makes a good open forum.

OP - take it as a compliment that you struck a positive chord with employees and a negative chord with the troll(s).

👍 to Outwitting and Outplaying.

Why should we be ashamed to desire severance? It's part of our benefits.

"I’ve worked hard and have done my job well. I’ve done what’s right for Wells Fargo customers."

Clearly not since the company is struggling.

Agreed. F Hudson Yards. Whoever replaces Charlie has a LOT of damage to repair. There's zero trust right now, and no company can succeed without it.
