Yes, That is correctomundo that Elon Musk did reduce 20% of it's workforce and it's revenue is also down from $6 Billion to $3 Billion. Hmmmm

Elon Musk reduced twitter by 80%, that’s right they are running their business with 20%.

What is Stankey afraid of? If he needs to cut 70K, just do it and get it over with. Delaying the inevitable serves no useful purpose. It's almost like he loves the torture aspect of cutting a few here and a few there. Stankey is evil to the bone.

Does the number include the 5,000 they hired on in India?

I think most employees would agree, they are sick and tired of Stankey re-arranging the deck chairs on the titantic.

50K seems low. ~ 80K total employees would match T-Mobile.

Make sure you have a chair when the music stops! Haven't played this game since second grade, but it was fun, not so much now. AzT&T stinks!

It's time for T to do a company wide poll to see who is willing to leave voluntarily just to help reduce payroll! I'm quite certain there would be at least 10-15 thousand employees jumping on this band wagon. They would see it as a life boat from a sinking ship!

That’s about 1k per week just from attrition. Bigger layoffs coming in October. I swear we are having layoffs about every couple months now. How many rounds has everyone gone through just this year alone. My group has had 4 layoffs just this year. Only one of those was announced at the beginning of the year.

At this rate, either we'll still be around 142k by year's end, or it's going to be a pretty bloody holiday season. Wonder how many are already on deck to be off payroll by the end of the year as opposed to perhaps a big surprise.
