I was recently laid off from UB/USB. My termination date just recently passed. Now how long will it take them to deliver my severence check?

For those taking retirement (55+) are there any benefits and what are they in your severance packet ? Does anyone know. I am 55+ but not sure if I am ready to retire yet so wondering is it worth it.
Look over your final paystubs closely. They take more in taxes on that money, while saying verbally and in documentation you will be taxed at a lesser rate.
if you have a 401k or pension, those matches and deposits will not happen until next year. Which is very annoying and sc-mmy.
They also appear to have opened some mystery bank account with them, that i never asked for nor authorized.
They are doing some weird gaming and potentially fraudelent things on the final pay and severance payouts.
The workday payslips and mailed paper ones do not match.
I am in the process of engaging a lawyer.
Would you mind to share in which department/group you was and are there other employees laid off too?
About two weeks, and they take out the maximum federal taxes, so it will be about half of the amount.
