In Texas. Worried for my team and senior management is radio silent. They hired a lot in other places to bring us to “full staff.” Was it a lie to cut our team?

ICG being eliminated does not mean that all the business lines contained within it are eliminated.
It means the term, the label "ICG" is being eliminated.
The business contained within it are being folded into other businesses per Jane's announcement.
The folks in the "ICG" management office who were kind of the business admin hub for ICG.......I would guess they are probably being eliminated. Then I would also guess by folding the business units into other departments, the trailing support functions that previously supported each of those business under the label of ICG (like Human Resources) will be either reassigned or laid off.
ICG was eliminated. Doesn’t commercial fall under ICG? Have you gotten severance package informative payment yet?

All managers everywhere are radio silent, because they are all worried about their jobs too. Nobody seems to know anything
Also, my managers have claimed to not know about layoffs until the day before, saying they had no choice in who was cut.
Job functions with overlapping duties are a big focus. I don't thank any department or area is safe at all. Be careful when having conversations right now with your boss and hire ups. I believe everything will go into weighing who stays and goes.
It is a joke. It has been coming for a while. Any eyes on numbers of layoffs coming company wide? State side?
cuts are coming across all LOB. Even if you are "safe" you aren't safe. $84b market cap for a company of this size is a joke!!
If you are in loan operation, you should be a-ok.
