Guys, this has to go through congress and senate both. Thousands of such bills are introduced every year. It took chips act 2 years to go through the process and the money is still nowhere to be found after 1.5 years of its approval. So this bill is just showmanship before the elections. This will not get through.

Again so predictable. In case the enlightened ELT is paying attention, Taiwan is much bigger than Intel. Other companies can do what Intel is doing and with way less trouble. Not the case for Taiwan. So there goes the order of priority from a national security perspective. Intel can go play with itself.
