The sad part is, I don't care. I've been looking for a way out of Allstate for a while and as soon as I find something good I'll be gone. He'll realize how much he screwed up once I'm gone. He sees me as a threat, which is why he is trying to get rid of me. He doesn't realize that I'm the one who made him look good to his bosses for the last few years. He's about to show everybody just how incompetent he is, and I'm only sorry I won't be here to see it.

Sounds to me like there is a massive ego and an attitude in play with the person that posted this. Bet there is no impact at all when they do decide to do themselves and their boss a favour and leave.

Work and progress is being sabotaged across the board right now. There are deep DEEP cuts coming and Execs & SrMgrs are ki-ling anything and everything. Bad times everywhere.

Sounds like a toxic work environment. Get out while you can . He’s likely one of the lazy adjusters that did the bare minimum but was groomed to be in upper management since he’s a corporate “Yes man.”
My guess is that you are a sub par employee with an attitude. Do everyone a favor and leave now
For what it is worth I empathise with your situation. You’re on the right track though, stay positive and get yourself out of that terrible situation. Once you’re free you’ll never look back. Good luck from an internet stranger.
