I have now heard from a second independent source that another RIF action is being planned for November. Stealth again, so as not to alarm Wall Street and also not to trigger the WARN Act.
Basically we have rolling stealth layoffs for the foreseeable future.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did another haircut just to look more attractive to a potential buyer.

The stock is up on acquisition rumors and a couple of upgrades by brokerage houses (they feel that the stock is undervalued given the company’s assets)
The executive team averted an all-out disaster at the All-Hands (unlike last time)

I talked to the board today, we’re good
Now that all the layoffs are done, seems to be business as usual. The stock has even managed to rebound.
