Claims is safe nd sound. Too many bodies needed and they cannot move this work overseas and they know it due to legal regulations. Claims is the one area that they cannot outsource. Period. We are too skilled outside from FNOL. Rumors about Claims layoffs is nonsense and we are hiring big time and not in overseas or India areas. Come to Claims and grow and succeed. Many of these Claims layoff rumors are from areas and former employees jealous that we are seen as essential to Allstate. Don't blame Claims because your areas were not worth keeping onshore.

The new EVP will absorb the decisions already made before they are put into place. This has always been the case in such similar timing of execs and RIFs. What is in motion will not be stalled or halted just because we are between EVPs. Allstate has not and does not work that way.
Any major strategic initiatives in Claims may be on pause until new EVP to replace Brandt is made. Yes the train has left the station on cutting expense, but the new leader should have some input on what gets done.
I am not sure what illusion people are living in. I have been in some of the conversations. Claims is 100% on the chopping block to be moved to vendors. FNOL is going to a vendor but probably not before adjustors. It’s not any different than how we have had home inspections at a vendor for years. Remember, the contact centers didn’t all go to overseas vendors. If licenses were required, the jobs went to onshore vendors like Concentrix. If you think any part of Claims is safe, you’re not paying attention to what’s happening.
You are too skilled? Ha ha ha
We’re short-staffed currently with tons of volume. They call that job security in the corporate world. Salaried employees working extra hours with no overtime.
Claims is not the backbone, they are a little lower on the body
Nah. Claims is not at all safe lmao. Decisions already made. Just not yet announced. sOuRcE: numerous Claims leaders that already received the info.
Aip is backbone we are straight green
Back in my day, trollin used to mean something
Yep. Claims is staying put. Thank you Mr. Wilson!
