Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Anyone else just get a final middle finger from T-Mobile?

I was let go on the first day of the layoffs more than three weeks ago but just got a FedEx package delivered to my house with 2-day, signature confirmation shipping. Inside was a foam fish keychain and sticker to promote cyber security and a small USB-C thumb drive.

Seriously, it is stupid sh-t like this that bugs me the most about my time at T-Mobile. If they sent that stupid package to every employee, the cost of production, shipping, envelopes, and staff time could have probably paid for 1-2 employees to keep their jobs this year (or more accurately, given Mike another couple thousand shares).

What did you expect a large foam finger to wear at the football games? Get real!

It was a yubikey.. basically another way to access your laptop. It is another security initiative they plan to make mandatory.

Sell it to a Russian hacker. That small USB is probably a Yubikey. They probably would get a chuckle with the sticker on their laptop.

Spoken like someone who probably lucked into a role at a big company if you're complaining about this. This stuff is so common-place at large corps.

Tell me you're in over your head, without telling me you're in over your head.
