BS. HR fights like he-l for the COMPANY, not the EMPLOYEE.

Ignorance is incredible here. HR fights like he-l for the people of TMO. Always looking for ways to cover more employees, meet them where they are in their lives, design further education and unmatched benefits. HR deserves the chop... where other departments are responsible for bringing in the income and all of these managers are responsible for being set up in the many different ways across the whole organization that they are just to get a job title and pay raise. Get off it y'all... we are all impacted and even with what I said, I ain't blaming retail for not selling enough or bringing in enough contract business to keep us all.
You mean the group that helps scream DEI, yet is predominantly (I'd wager 88%+) female... hmmm.
Take a look at T Nation page and number of teams listed under HR. Do they add any measurable value or revenue to the org? If this company found a need (making an assumption) to get rid of 5000 employees, it shows failed Human Resource Management. SLT, time for introspection.
TMO will stop. All pending RFPs, POs will halt. No work will be done because all of it depends on external resources.
MIX is next. I've heard next week for some colleagues and leads, though everyone isn't entirely sure. Not sure what day either.
We're still going through NPI through, at least, the 22nd for TMO and 25th for Metro. So it could be the very end of the month for MIX too.
HR about to get HR'ed. Couldn't happen to a better group of people.
The one department in the company I don't feel a bit sorry for.
HR is a total waste of money. They do not care about the employee at all. Their job is to protect the company no matter what
I thought marketing was next on 9.21
can anyone confirm?
maybe marketing is 9.28
Also any specifics around Melissa Gunderson's group??

I heard lot of recruiters going next round anyway but I don't know if
MIX will likely be next, then HR.
Since little or no HR was required for the actual layoff meeting, and the severance package was written up by legal, there's no need for any "HR Analysts" or whatever job title they have. They've already 100% outsourced all the technology to UKG/Workday.
So smart of them to save HR for the end once the rest of the layoffs are complete!
