Totally agree! Jumping into solution design and prototypung based on someone's preconcieved notion of what technology the market needs (because that's all they knew) without any market research or involvement of end-users is not human centered design or design thinking!
So we have learned nothing.
Design thinking is so much bigger than what is described in this thread.
To even call what is mentioned here Design Thinking is a disservice to the title.
Pathetic leadership is not design thinking.
