My manager did not say anything to me, no goodbyes, no texts saying it was nice working with you, nothing. The Director met with me and said blah blah blah, its not you its me, this is completely random that you are being let go. Thank you for all that you have done, have a nice life, now get the F out. Part of this was true, I added in some stuff the make light of the feeling being ghosted by the company you have worked for most of your adult life.

Our group got 15 minute meeting invites with our Sr. Director. It was too tell you if you were impacted or retained in our case. Those who were not impacted still had the meeting.
I came in to a meeting scheduled with my senior manager. It took all of 10 minutes. I was told I could continue to work, but I did not have to. I had network and badge access throughout the rest of the day. I was also told to turn my laptop and badge into my manager on my way out. My manager was shocked, had no idea. He was kind enough to walk with me and badge me through the building next door so I could get to the parking garage without walking around the building.
The Director calls you and invites you to Applebees but takes you to Chili’s. He abruptly leaves and then texts you a knock-knock joke…

15 minute meeting invite on the day of layoff with your Director means you are gone. They say it "could" be something else, which is Bullsh-t.
I’m in engineering under Ulf and the coworker that sits next to me was let go and sent back to their desk to remove all personal items from computer. That took a couple hours then took badge to security and gone.
Pretty effin heartless.
