Allstate had filed new WARN notices with multiple states. Typically this means a plamned possible reduction in workforce in excess of a set number.

"WARN notices" are so 2021.
Get with the program. It's "lift and shift and no severance for you" going forward.
All Service related work will be at Vendors very soon. All of the CCC has been moved to one of the new vendors and claims will make announcements starting in September…express, adjusters, all of it
Specific areas in claims being impacted, not focused on one geographical area. Areas are: Express, Claims Learning & Development, and Property Workflow to start.
What areas were impacted?
Those that are going to be affected already know.
We do TRULY believe Allstate is looking to reduce employee numbers or get out altogether, but when a post makes a claim that could have a link to confirm but does not provide the link or any other evidence to support the claim, we'll believe it when we see it.
Scottsdale is safe and will eat many salt donuts for years to c-m
If any of you TRULY believe Allstate isn’t looking to reduce employee numbers or get out altogether, you’re a huge fool honestly!!!
What is a WARN notice ?
Why is everyone so negative?
Some of you want links to confirm the notices? How dare you! Just look on Forbes or Fox Business.
I think we all know why the company is scared to and refuses to get rid of poor performers. It would be a very dark day.
Another round of 'apply for the job you already have.' Because the company is too chickens**t to just get rid of poor performers.
Every year they go through this and every year they get rid of good people and keep the strap hangers who refuse to do or think in a way that will make the company more successful.
It's called a death spiral. And the old school thinkers are riding the Titanic right into the icy cold waters.
Some links to notices filed would be a help. I've had a quick look and don't see anything recent. Not in NY, NJ or IL.

They’ll figure out a way to sc--w this up - my guess is they refuse to lay off poor performers and instead do the “job elimination” process to get rid of us older people
This is like taking a band aid off and doing it very, very slowly. Why can't they just rip it off and be done with it already?
So if I’m in NY or NJ, would they be listed under those states or would it be listed in IL?
