He never thought that this would happens to him. He's contacting my team and try to survive as he's under HR CPM team. Unfortunately, I don't think he can make it....

Why is it that the company eliminates roles in CA but not always in OR? Is it because people get paid more in the Bay Area? I'd think so.
Sorry to the 89 people but this is not enough to make even a small improvement in the company's situation. Multiply this by 4 or 5 hundred across the company and you will be in the right neighborhood for the changes that are required.
