The PE's are demoralizing teams, taking credit for other's work, favoring their sycophants, sidelining others and creating a distrustful work environment. This behavior is impacting employee's mental health, causing them to feel disheartened, wary, mentally exhausted, and as if they are constantly treading on thin ice.
