Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Depression

I'm so depressed.

As I go to sleep, I sometimes see Mikey 2's grinning visage in my minds eye; you know the one posted years ago shortly after he was appointed CEO by Mikey 1. In another moment of insomnia, I then see an image of Mikey 1 as the former despot; this is the picture I see in my head:- https://www.crn.com/news/channel-programs/DXC-Picks-Former-Accenture-Executive-As-New-CEO

I'm not sure what others see, but it's strange that popular search engines reveal no pictures of these individuals on DXC sites, or is that a deliberate decision by them at the top?

How I wish these former Accenture employees weren't a figment of my (late night) imagination, nor a reality for that matter.

I don't waste any thought on DXC because I'm resigned to the fact that we've just cast off from Queenstown, and set course for New York. The iceberg is also already in sight. And we're going to ignore it, keep going, and ram that iceberg.

I will stay on board and watch the sinking with a laugh. Because pretty much every engineer sees the problems, recognizes them, tries to fix them, but the management doesn't want to see or hear about them, because they're only thinking about the reward of reaching New York fast enough.

Think postivily - you will get pay increase next year
Report on your slacking collegues
congratulate your leaders on doign a great job

DXC Health and wellness sessions
Regular Town halls
Quarterly results - Analysts calls
Day trading (if you know how to ride the market)
Attend ethics and compliance trainings
Weekly team meetings
Involve in Pride month, diversity events etc.
Regularly collect salary.
