Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

Those laid off are the lucky ones

I'm not trying to be facetious when people have lost their livelihoods but I honestly believe this. Laid off employees got severance and a chance at a new start. We will now get to do their work in addition to ours and continue to worry about future layoffs 24/7. Yes, I do believe they are the lucky ones.

It’s kinda true. I’m so sick of the company. They don’t care about employees. Layoffs every year. Even if you’re a hard worker and dedicated your life to the company. Instead of cutting corners by letting people work from home and selling off some of the real estate, they lay off people with families, or even a single head of household that have nobody else to lean on. While they make millions and millions and millions of dollars it’s just so disgusting.
