Smaller departments first, larger departments to come. 7-9% in their model means reorganizing and consolidation across the entire company. Just because you haven't heard anything or heard anything doesn't mean you are out of the woods as some have already found out. Just because you were given a pat on the back for your 1st meeting, you will have to jump through hoops to stay expectations are higher and there will be rounds in this. Unfortunately this sounds like a great purging.

Hopefully everyone understands the original message was obtuse for a reason. “Coming weeks” intentionally affords flexibility. 14-16th is now and has always been a myth. Please folks stop perpetuating this to give everyone some false hope the end is near.

5000 is the number of folks, it won’t stop until at least that number if not more has been reached. They are not considering tenure, individual performance, workload and they are not sharing the scorecard. On purpose….

These are VP and higher decisions made at divisional layers that can sustain hits and remain net positives on the company bottom line. Those remaining will have increased workloads, scramble to consolidate responsibilities and no acknowledgement of the additional burden, just a blind expectation you will pick up the pace. We all misunderstand “people first” means the people suffer first. Not a positive message, but at least it’s facing the truth.

No one knows when it ends or if the message will even be communicated.

No one knows where we are in the 5k

No one knows the list of departments being effected

No one knows how they plan on supporting the gap-fill process

Stop speculating. The people who know and unequivocally not on this website sharing the plan or the news.

If you’re out, share your department, that helps. Vent about how they handled it, you deserve the right. The rest is just gas-lighting.

It's for sure not finished. It may be complete in some departments but it's not complete

It definitely doesn’t sound like 5,000 so far. I’m guessing the worst is yet to come.

Our director said yesterday and today only — everyone would know by end of day today. But maybe it was just our org? Who knows.
