Mark SU-KS!
CVS isn’t going under. How old are you id--ts on this thread? 5?
Can we get a class action against the government for approving this acquisition?
Similar thing happened when Walgreens bought boots. Walgreens leadership was wiped and boots management essentially took over.
Mark was “forced” off the board but I’m not sure if everyone realizes he then went on to become the co-ceo of bridgewater… one of the largest hedge funds in the world. He had significant leverage to control the board by threatening their seats. And then magically look what happened… Larry got pushed out… his golden girl took over and any cvs health board member dating back to pre-aetna has been turned over while Karen has turned over the entire c suite, placing her former aetna cfo back in role who left during the initial acquisition. There are very few executives at this point still in role, if any that are pre-aetna CVS Health…. This is very much a school of aetna managed (aetna executives or their recent hires) and aetna governed (former aetna board or selected by) company.
CVS bought aetna but aetna took over CVS… very much a textbook reverse takeover.
Can’t blame the man. Would you have turned down that $500 mil?
Karen cares more about DEI than happy employees and profit. Since she’s been in place we’ve gone work and our stock has tanked.
something to consider - if mark was still part of the board before the CVS influenced board/leadership ousted him the company wouldn't be in this position.
Karen cut out cvs downtown 5k and cvs charity classic. She is a heartless you know what. She is much worse than Larry ever was. Her and the rest of her girl execs have destroyed the place. Making employees return to office to feed their shallow egos needi g attention and applause at meetings. If I looked like them woof! maybe I would need my ego stroked too.
Nonsense this was planned by CVS and Aetna to merge and have Aetna take over. Oh CVS bought them out - yeah a company worth 1/5 of Aetna bought them out. That's a shell game.
Under another topic but sums it up in my opinion ....
Could CVS go under?
"Yes, those who are saying CVS is in trouble are right. I don't know why people can't see it. It feels like every move CVS makes, and every company CVS buys is simply an attempt to delay the inevitable. Upper management doesn't have a clue how to stop the bleeding. Things went downhill the moment Larry became CEO, and they've been going downhill ever since. And Karen is simply Larry 2.0, only worse."
Believe Karen is heritage Aetna. CVS much better before them.
